I did read your post that said HR contacted you, which is great. If
you ever have to go through that again, hopefully not, then you should
explain to the person sending you out that you will test positive but
have reasons why.

No way.

Some people stereotype us for being on such meds. They might fear
their health care costs rising, or they might fear a worker has cancer
when they dont- In other words, unless its about a job driving a big
rig or flying a plane, goverment stuff etc... I don't feel we should
be forced to tell are bosses jack *** about our personal business. If
we are judged it should be on our work performance, and NOT on what
drugs our doctors prescribe us so we can better funtion.

I took my bottles to the drug testing place, right after I got out of
my first day's work at another place today. That lady (not the same
lady as before) tried telling me to tell the employer about my meds,
and to share the pharmacy and doctor information and the whole bit- uh
uh! NO way. Im lucky that the HR lady advised me that her comany did
NOT want to know about my prescriptions! She advised me it was my own
personal private business, and all she wanted was for the drug testing
lab to confirm that what they found was what Im prescibed. So, thats a
little more like the way the law looks at these things. With large
companies, they simply don't have the RIGHT to force us to provide a
list of our meds in order to get a job- It's simply not legal for most
jobs. I have read all about drug testing for many years now, and it's
not about "rules", it's about the law.
