It sounds as though he wants to do a Sympathectomy. Well if you have
RSD/CRPS( www.rsds.org // www.rsdhope.org ) doing a Sympathectomy
most of the time will NOT make the pain go away. I have provided two
main links to information about RSD, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy,
aka, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome - I am also going to provide more
information by links about sympathectomies.

You should write out the pros and cons of having this done. Also seek
outside help, for example, a therapist, if you can afford one. It will
be really good to put your thoughts out there and have someone to work
you through them.

Always pain free hugs,

Hi everyone.. I finally got my puter back and can
post.. As some of you know I had surgery back on
Oct. 9th where they went through my back and also my
stomach to put in a rod and screws. The back insision
is fine but the front one must have been sewed by a
drunken sailor on weekend leave who just happened to be in the hospital
that
day. It starts from the left side of my belly button down 6" .. about 3"
down and to the
left side of the insision there is a mass of tangled nerve endings the
size
of a small orange. Saw Doctor (pain doctor) and he injected something
into
the area that made it go numb. Lasted 2 hours it was great but back
again.
He wants to kill the nerve endings there. Anyone have anything like this
done? My stomach swells and it looks like I am about 8 month
preggers...
68 yeah riiiight. :-{

Missed you all...
