Dear VJ,
I'm glad to see you bothered to stick around. Most spammers don't bother. I
am surprised you had the guts, but you probably have the same knowledge of
newsgroups as you do of medications, or you wouldn't be posting your spam in
here to begin with.
You seem to get it, but your writing sure doesn't reflect it. I can't count
the numbers of people that have come through this newsgroup, terrified to
death that taking the pain medication prescribed to them by their physician
is going to make them drug addicts. Your blanket inference does nothing but
reinforce that idea. You don't end up seeing the results of such narco
terror, you're counting your commissions. We end up having to clean up
behind you. Do you understand now? I wont even get in to the fact that you
can't get any real information on these drugs, being buried in layers of
narcoparanoia. Your statement just adds fuel to the fire.
Why don't you take the opportunity to address issues with the drugs you do
peddle, drugs loaded with organ destroying acetaminophen? Drugs that are
still be studied for their connection to heart arrhythmias?
I guess that wouldn't get you much business though, huh? After all, money is
the important thing here, right?
Instead of mislabeling and misclassifying, instead of scaring the *** out
of some poor little old lady, instead of sentencing people to a lifetime of
choosing between fear or agony, just don't say anything. Long term narcotic
use doesn't have a goddamn thing to do with addiction (the incidence of
addiction occurring in chronic pain patients with long term narcotic use is
less than 1%. Check THAT with the FDA, DEA, HHS, and anybody else you want).
If you're going to annoy people with your SPAM, the least you can do is get
your facts straight.--og

VJ,
I was going to say that if you knew what you were talking about you might

dangerous. You are plenty dangerous and irresponsible as you are.
Addiction
and narcotics has nothing to do with it, moron.
You have no concept of the damage you cause with you bull*** SPAM,
stuffed
full of inaccuracies and non-information. Just another drug dealer, not
giving a *** if your clients come back or end up on a slab. Go away and
don't come back.
Anybody reading, or god forbid, doing business with this jerkoff - his
motivation is money, obviously, and he has worse than no knowledge about
the
drugs he peddles, he has WRONG information. Narcotic medications DO NOT
cause addiction. It's ok to take your pain medication, and it's totally
normal if you find as time goes on, being on a narcotic, if you find you
need higher and higher doses of the medication to be effective. This is
called TOLERANCE, it is NOT addiction, and is completely normal.
If anyone has any questions as to why I'm jumping down this ***'s
throat, (outside of his bull*** SPAM) please don't hesitate to post
asking
about addiction, tolerance, physical dependence, the dangers of Tylenol
laced medications, or any other medications this moron is pushing.
And most of the drugs this idiot mentions are schedule III drugs. He's
dumb
like a rock, on top of being annoying fool.
Thanks--og

This is a certainly a harsh reply... The statement about narcotic
medications having a potential for abuse is straight out of the FDA
guidelines and is a generally accepted convention. It is surprising
that you have such a strong opposition to this warning since it is the
entire purpose of having the drug schedules. However, I am not
suggesting that there is never a good reason for the long term use of
narcotic pain medications; this is something that your PCP can
determine. What I am stating is that the website I provided does not
help with the procurement of these medications because there is a
moderate-high potential for abuse and consequently are under Schedule
I - III. You can review the scheduling at
http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/pubs/abuse/1-csa.htm.
I am unsure why you have such hostility towards a relatively benign
post. If you don't agree with the DEA, then you should be angry at
them.
Personally, I get upset when the DEA uses the schedules to classify
drugs which I consider low-risk in a high schedule. For example,
there are medications prescribed for helping to quit opiates
(addiction treatments) which have been recently moved from a low
schedule into a higher schedule.
