Could you help me understand the level of hate required to compel
people to do things like this? I didn't get it the first time I saw
one, and I still don't. Is it simply the ability to do so?

Couldn't agree more. But what should a victim of such harrassment
actually _do_? Ignoring him wont work - hes updating his hate-site on
me three or four times a day because he still thinks he's getting
emails from me. His 'evidence' for that is my IP address visiting the
hate-page a couple of hours after he got an email!
