Re: I hate this time of year...

The only suggestion I can make is for you to find a way to make the
holiday a positive experience for yourself and create some good
memories, whether it's by volunteering at a homeless shelter, ringing
the bell at the red buckets, or donating to a food pantry or thrift
store for the poor. Maybe adopt a family who is down and out and see
how you can make their holiday a better one. Sometimes we get so
focused on how tough we have it, myself included, we forget that many,
many people in our town, society, country, world have it far worse
than we ever will and that we can ease some of our own suffering by
expanding our vision and giving out of our need.
