I hate this time of year...

I am concerned about this time of year and how it affects me. My
mother was murdered in front of all of us kids when I was just four
years old. After 25 years it still affects me deeply around this
time
of year. You see, she was murdered on Christmas Eve by my own
father. I am already starting to see the depression sinking in and
slept through Thanksgiving. I didn't intend to it just happened and
I
don't want this to get worse. I am still working on getting into the
psychiatrist and therapist to work on all of this but it looks like
it
is going to happen after the new year. I am worried that I am going
to sink lower then I have in years because my hospital stay drug up a
lot of things that I haven't talked about in years.

Does anyone have advice for me to help me stay in a positive frame of
mind and fight this depression? I love to come here and chat and
read
what everyone says. I love to leave feedback when I have something
valuable to add but I tend to just keep my mouth shut. I don't have
the energy to keep myself really busy so that I don't think about it.

Keep moving forward,
Jennie
