Dear Mike,
I'm not sure about his medical training, but he's been here since I was a
kidd (get it? old goat/kidd?). So he's got a lot of what's been read in here
and seems to retain lots of it, as well as reading a lot of the actual real
medical sites, like the AMA's. I just find Lancet and such a little too dry
for my reading tastes.
He's got opinions too, but we all do. As long as we can show some facts
behind it and keep it as discussion, it works. Some folks can't stand him,
but even when I've disagreed with him, I found him to be pretty well
informed, and a good guy, usually with decent advice.
