WoW! I will have to read the newer "laws"/protocols/tricks/& mostly
read, write & collect drs.' orders, files & all, File a couple of
formal complaints, try to get "Drug Seeker" off my E.R. record if
indeed it says something like that (that was something the pcp
admitted to as being a "mistake" on the tape) & call it a day...or
nite. As far as the Tape goes, I plan on Writing it out in my own
words w/ additional info written by my 19yr old son who was there & is
my advocate too. I am still pissed that the doc wouldn't let me tape
the 2nd time

Well, it should not have been a surprise. Why would any doctor let you
tape record something that's almost guaranteed to be used against him?

You were certainly mistreated, but I think you should let it go.
Otherwise you will expend a lot of physical and psychic energy for no
result. It's just not worth it. You can't force doctors to do anything.
You can't punish them for not doing what they should. You can sue them
if you have the money (you're not going to get a lawyer to take it on
contingency) and 7 years to spend on it, but what kind of shape will you
be in at the end of that?

I truly am sorry.
