Re: YaY for pain Control...

Dear Lori,

God, I do not want to pee in this woman's cornflakes, but I have to ask the
question - what kind of head shrinker is this? A true psychiatrist, as in
the kind with a DEA number which can write their own Rx's for pharmaceutical
grade cocaine if he was of a mind to? It's great that someone has recognized
the problem of adequacy and while it's been confirmed and confirmed, nobody
is helping you. It's been criminal to treat you with, what is essentially
for you, placebo's, 10 days post surgery, but you could have left his office
walking.
If you aren't medicated tomorrow, my 2nd call would be to this shrink. The
3rd call would be to whatever State medical board you may have, Just be sure
not to take it out on the receptionist during your first call, the doc is
the moron In the meantime, since real people don't answer phones anymore,
document as much as you can about the nightmare of the last 10 days in an
order that's presentable to a lawyer. While the withholding of pain
medication from someone who suffers with it chronically is not legally
actionable, in the case of surgery to remove an organ could very well be.
The "Do no harm" test will not save him in this situation.

Stick it up his ass, and break it off--og
ps-I'm glad to see you still hang on to old email addies. We will be sorry,
but happy to see your hubby in here, if we can help, we're here for him too.

Hi ((all)),
If you've been reading my "Dr. circus.." & "ER wouldn't treat my level
8 pain" posts, here's a followup. 'Course we'll see how much & when,
but my psych, whom my pcp referred me to re: pain control contract,
basically said: "He's still undertreating your pain...he knows this is
against the law, why???" He was flabbergasted (whatta werd!) about
how I've been made to suffer, especially 9days out of surgery. He was
Faxing the dr. as I left!!! He asked me what I wanted & what mg!!!
YaY Chris <3!!! I've known him for 15yrs so this is good!
Kindly,
LoriB.o.B.
the hopefully soon to be out of pain?
