Oh a nice wall mounted plazma TV....I know thats the big bucks but....I
guess i can dream. But a nice 32inch or so would be very nice, since i
spend most of my time with it on or my DVR taping somthing to watch LOL as a
mater of fact the darn thing isnt even on right now, its kinda nice. I'm
sitting here waiting for Safeway.com to deliver my groceries....!
Thanks again....! to bad its Friday, i',m geared up to get on the horn to
my ex employer to get the LTD docs.....time to start reading some real fine
print, if ya know what i mean.

WAHOOOO! They actually did something right for a change! It's a bummer
about paying back most of it to your employers LTD, but double check your
LTD contract. If the monthly LTD bennie was/is more than the SSDI bennie,
the employer has to cough up the difference.
My LTD from my thank-god-for-stupid-mistakes (I would have never bought a
policy back in the old days but I was doing good, so I told them sign me
up for every bennie you got) is about 1k a month. SSDI was going to pay
$800 and some change. (all this going back to the beginning of time of
course), But if SSDI had approved me, I'd still be getting the extra $200
a month from the LTD. So be sure they aren't laying a tarrididdle on you.
Even if you love the company, it's no excuse to not get what you deserve,
so while you can be nice about it (and I can't imagine you being
otherwise) be firm and make sure you get what's yours.
It may not help the pain but it sure does something for your peace of
mind, don't it?
Take some money and do something to pamper yourself while you have the
means. A plasma TV would be a good start :) (about $700 if you shop
around)

On 1st try!!!!!!!!!! I was so suprised when i openend the envelope..! And
Very Happy, and, Reliveved. BUt, now.....here's where i get sad. I
have been on LTD from my job, and i have to pay back most or ALL of the
back pay check to my LTD company. My claims manager told me to think of
it this way. Think of it like we have been paying you your SSDI benifits
and, now the back pay is paid back to replinish those funds. I knew i
would have to pay back some money. BUt, what about those people that
dont get thier SSDI.
Being able to keep some of the back pay, to pay off the Med Bills that
keep pilling up, plus a little money to fall back on..oh well. She also
told me i would not get anymore my ben amount from SSDI will be offset by
the amount i get from LTD.
Dont get me wrong i'm thrilled......
