For a minute there I almost thought we were all adults here.

I apologize.

Apparently I was wrong.

The problem is not a lack of maturity. It's mental illness. Some people
here are like an exposed raw nerve and there are provocateurs about who
know how to take advantage of that.

This group has been quiet for a couple of weeks and that does not suit
the stalker who followed me over here from the webmaster newsgroup. He
is probably the one who has been making anonymous attack posts to try to
get people riled up again. After a couple of misfires, he struck paydirt
with someone who has some very serious mental health issues. She
flipped-out over a post that didn't even name her, accused me of doing
it, simply because it "sounded" like me to her, and then she posted a
huge pack of lies about me.

See, Kenny, that paragraph above entirely encapsulates your problem.
You've absolutely no idea who made the post, but it fits with your
twisted agenda to believe it to be me. How in Gods name I'd find the
info needed to rile up members of this group is anybodys guess, and I
reckon if you were honest you'd admit that you dont really believe I
made it, but as I said, it allows you to feel aggrieved so hey, it
must be true.

Now she is publicly embracing and encouraging a stalker--which would be
bad enough on it's own, but irony of ironies, it's most likely the same
person who made the anonymous posts attacking her and others.

Back in Kennyworld again, and we can see that the mere repetition of
his accusation of 'stalking' does of course make it undisputed fact. A
more naive person might ask; what, in Kennyworld, constitutes a
stalker? I wont bother, because I've seen from his past that he can
twist and squirm to make *anyone* he disagrees with a 'stalker'. But
Kenny, old chap, would you like me to quote the post of yours where
you say that *YOU* are a stalker? How does that fit? You think
stalkers are A Very Bad Thing, but you admit to being one? And what is
it I'm doing to justify your tag - reading a newsgroup in which you
post? *Thats* stalking? Like several other people, I've had my name
and a residential address published by you, so I decided to see if
that kind of reprehensible conduct is something you do elsewhere.
Guess what I found - yes, you did!

I didn't start this, and I won't keep it going.

Well Kenny, we've only got your word for that, havent we? Care to tell
us all why you modified the hate-page you dedicated to me this week
and removed the (incorrect) address, but then you changed it again
earlier today and put it back?

Instead, I would like to
propose that we all agree that from now on all anonymous and provocative
posts should be ignored and that the contents of such posts will not be
given any credence by anyone. If those who are attacked in this manner
were confident that no one was paying any attention to such posts, then
perhaps they would not feel the need to defend themselves or attack
someone else, based solely on their suspicions as to who might have been
the originator of an anonymous attack.

Its much easier than that, Kenny. All you need to do is take down the
libellous, inflammatory, twisted hate-pages you have online for all
the many many people who you have had issues with, and who knows, you
might find that things calm down. But while you maintain these
deliberate attempts at harassment, you have no claim to any moral high
ground. Sorry, but thats easy enough for ANYONE to see...
