My doctor prescribed Pregabalin (a seisure medicine apparently) to

take it when the pain flares up?
I'm surprised it worked on you. Pregagalin (Lyrica) is used mostly
for nerve pain.
Since your pain is no longer chronic, you should speak to your doctor
about stopping it altogether. There are better medicines for pain
that comes-and-goes, and you really have to have a certain level of
Lyrica n your body for it to work.
Congrats on losing the weight, and the pain! Hope you manage to keep
both under control.
