Good luck to you. I filed in December of 2005 and never got a lawyer
so what we get is all ours. If I'd have been denied at this appeal
I'd have gotten an attorney, though. I was ready to fight if I had
to. To be honest...it was the psych diagnosis that got me approved.
My shrink wrote a letter telling them how I fit the criteria and that
was what decided it.

Im in my 3rd year too, waiting for my appeal hearing...I do have an
attorney, it just helps for me, as I have a difficult time with memory
and cognition at times...most of these times on here are my most
lucid, when im not having absence seizures and such. I also like the
comfort of someone else keeping the paper trail, and reporting all my
meds, and visits to new specialists. I also think in a hearing I would
be so nervous i would step all over myself.
anywqay, good for you trisha...im glad to hear success stories,
especially when its someone i semi-know...or at least know of....it
gives me hope and strength to keep going.
