Your meds aren't showing in your urine test

Ok, I am so upset right now. I had an "incident" with my percocets. I went
to take one this morning, and yep, you guessed it...the bottle went right
into the sink.
I grabbed what I could get, which were wet and all mushy, and put them into
a paper towel, and brought them with me to my appt today. I told them what
happened, and also told them I did not expect another script for the lost
pills, standard procedure and I don't blame them a bit. They told me I
would have to take a urine test and I agreed.
Well, the doc comes into the room with an arrogant strut and says "Why are
these not showing up in your urine?" I was floored and speechless. I said
they should be because I just took one at 4 am. I have been taking them as
prescribed since I got them. Now, I got upset, and started crying I know
that's not the best thing u should do. He told me he wasn't at fault. That
it was the government making him do it. He said he was going to send off my
uring to be tested more thoroughly. And that he was giving me "another
chance". I am assuming that this is all contingent on the results of the
test. Now I have to wait 2 weeks to find out.
I know what I did. I took that medicine as prescribed. I did NOT sell it.
Or throw it away, or whatever. I have no idea why it would not be showing
up in a drug screen. I asked if it could be because they gave me the
generic brand instead of the brand name, they said no. Does anyone have any
idea as to why this would not be showing up? I took one at 4 am today. And
have been taking them ever since presecribed. I am so scared and mad. I
try to do the right thing and this is what happens. I should have just kept
my mouth shut and made him think I was just taking them more often. Geez...
Someone please give me some idea as to what I am going to be going through
here. Is he just trying to get rid of me? Lying and saying the drug didn't
show up? Can I go somewhere else to have an independant drug screen done
and show him that it IS in my system? What options do I have here? What
can I do??
Thanks
.
