Treason. The man committed treason and the penalty was too harsh. They
should fry him and his pal side by side on a pay-per-view. It's ok to keep a
traitor out of jail, it's ok to bury the VP shooting another man in face
under corpses of Marines in Iraq, and besides that it's ok because they were
pals. It's not a party or partisan issue, it's not political, it's sanity. A
madman is running the country. If we survive the next 18 months with only
our pockets cleaned out we will be very lucky. We'll be lucky to be paying
$4 a gallon for gas as he and his oily pals fill their pockets. A great many
of us John and Jane Q. Public will be lucky to see January 2009 come around
and still be drawing breath.
We come to expect greed from our politicians, after all it takes half a
billion dollars to get elected. Spending $750,000,000 to $500,000,000 to get
a job that pays $300,000 a year. For life of course, but still. With that
kind of money you can still find a way to exempt yourself and your friends
from the law and do it without everyone in the world thinking you're insane.
I think 9/11 caused the boy to snap. He said nothing and did nothing that
you or I wouldn't have done in the same situation on that day, and most of
us would have done more. And he keeps bragging on his heroism and his
"single handed fight" against terrorism. He's done more to promote terrorism
among us, in our own country, than to fight terrorism abroad. I don't know
about you, but I am more scared of our government and it's abuses of it's
own born-in-the-USA citizens than I am about some crazed, radical, Islamic
trying to build a nuke in his basement. That would only kill and injure some
of us. What this clod is doing endangers us all and guarantee's not a shred
of the American Dream, the American Way of Life, the idea of American
Freedom that we were created for will survive to be studies by future
fascist archeologists.
Sorry, I try to avoid being political in here, it inventively ends up
becoming flame fests. Registered Independent and it burns my ass that we are
excluded from the primaries and candidate selection process. We should be
allowed to vote in either primary election, but we're disenfranchised due to
additional paperwork.

Yes I saw Bush's latest act of arrogance.....its not enough to have a
scapegoat for treason, save the scapegoat from prison time....The only
surprise to me was it wasnt a full pardon, only a cummted sentence.
