And if you call this spamming, I am sorry that I offended you. But
paul, I have lived with this for over 13 years. and i like to help
people. call me
a spammer after you have meet me. I do not live in a fancy house. It
sounds
like a big company. Its not. Just my wife and I. and sometimes my kids
pitch in.
we live in a two bedroom bungalow nothing fancy.

You're obviously new at this, so allow me to explain the correct way to
go about this.

A lot of people would call your original post spam, because it's purpose
was to advertise your web site. If I had a dollar for every time I've
seen some spammer claim that he was just trying to help people I'd be
rich.

You are posting through a Google-groups account, but the IP of your
internet service provider is visible in the headers of your message and
so if people decide to complain about your posts they will complain to
both Google and to Telus Communications.

The ONLY way to advertise a web site in newsgroups and avoid complaints
is to make a legitimate contribution; offer up some free advice or
answer someone's question; and confine your advertising to a properly
formatted "sig"

Look at the end of my post and note the two dashed lines followed by a
space and then my signature on the next line, followed by my url. The
two dashed lines and space are there to tell most newsreading programs
not to reproduce anything that follows when quoting for a reply. And
keep your "sig" short. When it comes to "sigs" less is more.

This is a convention that is recognized throughout USENET as the proper
way to format a signature. If you place your url -- unsolicited -- in
the body of a message, most people consider it spam and many people will
report you for spamming. Google will definitely cancel your account and
if your ISP receives complaints they may issue a warning to you or they
may just cancel your account as well.

Please accept this advice in the spirit it is offered and adjust your
posting style accordingly.
