I agree with the ending being awesome! This is by far the kindest
movie that Mr. Moore has ever made. There is so much love and caring
in this movie. I used to live at/near Mr. Moore's home town (now I'm
far, far away from there) and he is not liked by everyone there. But
he does have a base of hard core fans in Flint that really love him. I
know people that seen him when he quit Chevy and started a local
newspaper called The Flint Voice. The problem with The Voice was it
was ultra leftist in it's views, and many Democrats thought it was too
far left. So that limited his market share sharply. When he started
making movies is when he started making a little cash. When he was in
the newspaper business he would stand by the roadside handing them out
to people (I guess he SOLD them) walking by.

The ending really is killer. I will try not to spoil it for everyone.
Lets just say that he rounded up some needy American heroes and did an
extremely nice thing for them. It almost makes one cry to watch it.

It was not the movie I expected. I expected him to go after all the
med advertising... but he only spent maybe a minute on that. He never
once touched upon the drug programs that give away free meds to poor
folks that fall between the cracks, so I bet they use that for a card
to play later in debate.

Everyone should see this movie. Tell your friends. It's blew my mind
when I seen how many other countries had free health care for all.
Like England, Canada, and even Cuba. And the people there are NOT
complaining of bad health care like the propaganda we are feed. The
LIKE their health care.

this is only very partually true...I mean about these countries liking

healthcare

why then do so many heart patients come across the border to have heart
surgery?? cuz in Canada they can die waiting...

why in the UK can patients only be dialyzed or transplanted if they are
under age 55?? because it is cheaper that way

why in Canada do citizens wait up to 6 or more months for even routine
things like mammograms?? because it saves the provinces money

why are so many Canadian doctors leaving the country..and many end up
here
practicising medicine?? because they are salaried and paid very low
wages
(comparable)...plus the good ones feel badly that they cannot provide
better
care

Hey check out what Sean says below. All this propaganda about people
in Canada hating their insurance is not true. I have meet several
people over there, and they feel America has a problem bigger than any
one that Canada has. If one don't believe what Mr. Moore says, then
watch the movie and listen to what all the doctors, nurses, and
patients have to say. One guy in France explained their health care
system, and Michael asked him if the guy thought such a system would
work in America. The man paused and then said "No". Mr. Moore said
after that the French man could barely keep inside all of his hatred
of America. Their is more love for needy people in this film than I
have seen in a long time.

I hate it when people refuse to watch a movie because the evil Michael
Moore produced it. Of all the films he has ever made, by far this one
shares Mr. Moore's love and compassion for his Country the most. He
wants to use his movies to change minds. We have been brainwashed is
my feeling. Study the health care of the countries in his movie.
America can not stay on the path we are on. Sooner or latter a single
event might bring down America's medical house of cards.

Those on the far right can't be seen trying to help 911 heroes get
free medical- from CUBA of all places. It took Mr. Moore to help these
folks, and they all had tears because they were so happy. They also
ALL had INSURANCE!! America had failed them and a country where were
told in schools that Cuba is evil. They reached out and helped these
Americans that Mr. Moore brought over on a rented boat, the Cuban
people were the first and ONLY ones to reach out to them and offer
their doctors and trained pros (for FREE) to treat these Americans.
The doctors claimed they treated all patients the same. rich or poor
all got the same medical care. Cuba's firemen did a standing at
attention thing for them, and addressed the Americans as brothers and
sisters because they all were fire fighters. Cuba's health care was
treating these broken heroes much better than their own insurance
did!! They all were so happy... it was a real tear jerker. On woman
was buying all the breathing meds she could get at 5 cents a piece,
this med sells for $150 in America- based on the movie.

I hope this movie helps squelch some of that anti-American propaganda
that so many on the right have been dis-ing on
Mr Moore. This movie should make it very obvious that he loves America
and he loves our people. It's just he is the first since the Clinton's
to pack this dinner in our lunch bags to read about the next month.

No Money, and No Medical Insurance


I've been a fan of Michael Moore all along, and am happy to see that
people are embracing this film with a great deal more positive
anticipation than they have most of his previous ones.

I too was raised buying the B.S. that national health care in other
countries was somehow inferior to ours. I'm certain it's true in
some countries, but I know that my sister in Australia gets far
superior compared to mine, for free,



interesting....I just did a quick search on Australian healthcare...it is
NOT free...those under retirement age HAVE to buy insurance just like we
do..

and their share of costs are higher than those of us here that have
insurance...

so no sure where or how old your sister is...

Healthcare in Australia is good...but there is no free ride (except perhaps
for those with almost no resources..money etc)


even though I'm fortunate enough to have
"good" insurance right now.

When you're not insured,
as many of you know, it's an absolute hell here.
