Ok, I'll buy that but he got off tracked when questioned by someone about
what he was saying and wandered off into a mental questions tangent that is
irrelevant to topic, yes I agree the subject needs further discussion but
held on topic and not run into a debate flamefest which it was starting
towards...Joe

Dear JJ,
I think some of what Radium has to say is pretty informative, particularly
to those considering surgery. His posts on nociassociation are something
both patient and doctor should be aware of.
Have you ever heard the stories where people supposedly sedated enough to
under go surgery, come back and can almost word tell you what happened
during the surgery? People having surgery being totally paralyzed, yet
feeling every slice and cut and unable to call for help and let them know.
I've seen hundreds of accounts. Some survive the surgery and some do not.
All radium is saying is if you find yourself in a procedure,
particulularly a long complicated affair, general anesthesia is not enough
and your chances for a decent outcome depend not only on the general, but
a site specific anesthesia as well, so while you may still feel a bit of
what they do, it's not enough to put you in to shock on the OR table. So
it is by no means "goofy crap" and could save lives by a talk with the
anesthesiologist before going under the knife.
I see the frustration from the sanely worded posts and think he'd do much
better drawing from his own experience as well of those others who have
experienced this, but it doesn't make it any less true.
Just my 2 cents--og

Could someone please tell me how to use the filter on Thunderbird to get
this "nut" Radium off of some very serious sites that deal with issues of
pain and neurological disorders. This individual apparently has no life
at all and spews his goofy crap all over the place.
