Since I'm picking your brains anyway. I've NEVER been the sort to get

(okay, except for the crushing romantic blow which brought on a
shingles attack, and haunts me to this day)...the shingles, not the
blow.
STOP Snickering please! My brother got shingles over a CAR he lusted
after when he was 16. ;)
You dont get shingles from lusting after a car! Shingles is a virus,
related to the Chicken Pox herpes virus. If lusting after a car gave ppl
a virus, nearly every male from the age of 12 and up would be covered in
em!
actually...any stress related event CAN indeed cause a dormant shingles
virus to erupt....
that is why they are called "dormant"....waiting for a trigger to cause an
outbreak...
now...have never heard of car lust causing an outbreak....but so many other
instances reported by patients makes me think it depends upon HOW stressful
the car lust was....
and by the way..the proper "visus" is actually the herpes zoster...not only
related to chicken pox...but actually the SAME virus
So try another fairy tale....this ones is just as bad as the one ya tell
about how the doctor really wrote that prescription and jusr felt an
overwhelming need to frame YOU for forging it!
SO..............................
While on morphine, I started breaking out in BRIGHT
red itchy rashes....just a few small bumps, but BIG patches of
skin....they'd come and go
just as mysteriously, only to return the next day or day after.
Nothing new "environmentally" or medically except morphine.
When the doc switched me back to oxy, they went away.....for two
weeks.
He'd also given me Zyrtec, which seems to clear them. We were almost
certain it was a reaction to morphine, but that can't BE if they're
showing up again now, can it? OR
Is this just another manifestation of Fibro I've yet to run across in
reading?
Thanks for any and all help,
