Might it have been gallstone? Gallstones are formed in the gallbladder. That
can cause abdominal pain. And the pain can feel like stomache cramps.
The lower back pain would be explained by the kidney stone. The stones
showed up in the X-rays, so next will be how to treat them. Diet is usually
the recommendation for gallstones, unless the gallstones are blocking the
ducts. Then the gallbladder is removed. You may find that gallbladder
attacks occur after eating a high-fat meal or snack. Avoiding too much fat
can alleviate the problem.
Kidney stones are a whole different genre, the urologist will discuss
treatment options with you. I've never had kidney stones, but I have heard
they can be quite painful when they block the ureters to the bladder. The
urologist can address the peeing problems, which may or may not be related
to your kidneys. OG mentioned prostate. Could be you have a number of issues
going on. Good luck with the urologist.
I had my gallbladder removed, laparascopic surgery. If your gallbladder ends
up giving you continued troubles, surgery is relatively minor, done in short
procedure, and you often go home the same day.

Two weeks ago I had the idea of taking overdoses of Vitamin C to give
me energy. I took three tablets of about 300mg each. Some days after
I started to have diarrhea and had urine coming out through the
rectum. Five days ago I highly increased the intensity of my
exercise program which consists in jogging, sprinting and jumping as
far as I could. The day after I had blood in my urine. I've been
experiencing cramps in the belly and in the lower back always on the
right side. Once in a day I've had one period where the pain was
very intense for about an hour. After drinking about one litre, the
pain went away.
Yesterday morning my doctor confirmed the blood in my urine and had
me to pass a pelvic ultrasound. He told me that the results were
normal, so no problem detected yet. In two days (it is week-end, of
course!!!) I will have X-Rays and another test which name I can't
remember.
Last detail. I have no idea if it is revelant. I've had that problem
for about 10 years. Each time I feel to pee, I have to go to the
washroom as soon as possible. If I don't go within 15 minutes, but
finally make it to the washroom, it takes 2 minutes before the pee is
coming out. It sometimes takes 2 minutes before I finish, and I might
have to go back 5 minutes later to pee the remaining. Normal?
According to you, what do I have? Thanks.
