hawk,
Ok. you don' t have all the facts here so as i
respect you have your
own view on this topic please try not to say
whats wrong or right with
out facts. Our lawer does not work for the
insurance co. he is our
private attorney, and he works for us ONLY!!!
Yes he does all the
dealings with the insurance companies, ours and
the other drivers. He's
recommending doctors at our request as he has
been doing in our family
for years. I can understand how this was
misinterpreted. For years now
anytime something comes along that we need his
advice, expertise, or
services he is here ready willing and able. this
is an open/shut case,
even the police know that from the police
report.Not your fault as you
hadn't had all the facts,no biggie.

firstly the lawyer shouldn't be recommending
docs anyway....it is a conflict
of interest...the lawyer is representing the
insurance company...and the
doctors that get sent such accident patients
are most usually on the
dole...and will recommend the cheapest
intervention...ie chiro vs say a
physical medicince DOCTOR

If CDM chooses he no longer wants to go to the
chiro then he'll simplt
say so, and so it wil be. The lawer works for
us, we don't work for
him, This will all be over in 10-11months tops.

Just a word to the wise, NEVER assume your case is
open and shut no matter what the police report
says.
If your attorney is telling you any kind of time
frame and using words like open and shut, I would
be very afraid.
I was involved in what would have seemed an open
and shut rear end crash (the receiver) and it took
well over 3 years to
settle for far less than what I valued the case
at. With med bills in excess of $300,000.00 the
big winners were my attorneys and the doctors.
I lost a house, my career my family and my
mobility. I gained chronic pain, a broken body and
not enough money to replace anything. I also
traded a good paycheck for a crappie SS check.
I wish your husband better luck than I had, but
BEWARE.

Does curiosity really kill cats?
I feel your intentions were good, perhaps it was
my fault for not
stating the facts but these are touchy subjects
until it's over I think
you can understand that.

So I got the advice I was looking for, for the
most part, so thank you
but I'm going to end this specific topic.

no hard feeing intended, hope you know that
Take care-T.
