No offense meant, but another way of putting it would be is; right
now, you are living off of her, she's the bread winner. Would that be
right?

Hey ZW, you found another woman who has no intrinsic worth!
In reading this thread, Ruada qualifies too!
And then of course Cabbi who has no children...
While your worthiness knows no bounds! :)

Lest see.. I contribute to my household fiscally, physically, mentally
and emotionally. I suppose income is only counted if its from a
current job or career, according to some. What money I have currently,
or had, or spent, since I left my previous employment in order to move
is no one else's concern, and I'm certainly not going to divulge my
personal finances HERE. As to bread winner.. just what does that mean,
in current society and culture? Men as a rule haven't hunted for table
in a hundred years. And a woman's role is no longer what it was then,
either. So perhaps using that archaic term wasn't the best choice.
I certainly would never say I'm 'living off of her", in any sense, and
neither would she. In fact, Beci credits me with the title of "Head of
Household", not herself, and has since we became room mates. And yet,
she has brought in more hard currency than I have.
But no, I do not live off of her. She simply is the only member of the
household with an income at the present time. Hair splitting
difference? I think not. Quite a distinction, in my opinion.

As to my intrinsic worth, only I am capable of judging that, and NO
OTHER. I now see that attempts to demean others in this room seems to
have gone even further than it had when I left. Such a pity.

Just a FYI, he was not trying to demean you...in fact, the opposite.

Many of us here have had our "intrinsic worth" questioned on a nearly
daily basis by ZW. That's the point RJ was making Marcia.

Maybe you already knew that..if so, I'm sorry for stating the obvious.

codeee

No probs, codeee. I understood, but I find disparaging remarks against
anyone quite distatesful, especially when I or my situation am being
used in some way to further that. Rack had no call to use me or my
post in that fashion, just to get a jibe in on ZW. I won't put up with
it. I am not a snivelling child to be put in the middle of Old
Arguement. And I wanted him to know that. ZW can question what he
wants of me, and I will answer; no one else needs to fuel a fight that
isn't there.
