I don't know where the disagrrment is here. Just about everyone , in
this group has come out in favor of marijuana legalization. I'm not
needling-you've said so, in your own words.

...WAH , they took away my candy

Oh, he supports medical marijuana. He's just trying to troll me.
Believe it or not its not all about you, Kenny. MJ Candy is a fuckin joke! Whats next? Morphine bubblegum? How about Oxy-Pop-Rocks? It could give a whole new meaning to the idea of 'skittles'.
Packaging clearly adult medicine in ways thatll attract kids is an accident waiting to happen! Ive even had concerns about Actiq, but theyve done their best not to dress it up like kiddie stuff, and I keep it under lock & key when my SOs daughter is here.
Using marijuana as a base for candy is totally dumb! Its right up there on the list of bad ideas with whosever suggseted that everyone get free & unfettered access to opiates!
While on the surface & conceptually I agree, ya have to remember that
the most powerful opiate currently being prescribed is available as a
"candy" in the form of Actiq.
True, and I use the stuff, but it doesnt LOOK like candy other than being on a stick. Its white and shaped more like a suppository than anything else! The old formulation just had a stick with a very easily faded name 'actiq' on it. The new one has a great big non-removable "handle" around the bottom that very clearly labels it medicine ("Actiq") and the dosage. Its been around now for about 10 yrs, and Ive yet to hear of a child hurt by it, yet I have heard of a kid hurt by the patch, and thats no more designed to appeal to a child then the suckers are.
I can understand & conceive of a need for a discreet Cannabis delivery
system, but it appears that Sativex is just that ticket. Since
Cannabis has such a tell-tale smell when smoked many people who use it
medically, may need to use it in public and that is when the need for
a discreet delivery system could come into play. A pop like Actiq
wouldn't draw all that much attention needlessly.
It doesnt.
