Well sounds like you have a pretty good reason for feeling a little
sorry for yourself. Did your spouse give you any specific reason for
wanting to move on? Is she tired of listening to you complain about
your pain (I know mine is). Or is it over financial issues?

If she has been supportive up until this time what event triggered the
change in heart? Have you sat down with her and talked the issues
through? Women love to talk ya know. Have you been to self-focused
on your medical issues or the raising of your little girl while
neglecting the wife? Some women can be extremely high maintenance and
don't like taking the backseat.

All in all you need to figure out the triggering event. If she won't
tell you straight out you may have to read between the lines. Don't
be surprised if she tells you that you've been self-absorbed and not
paying her enough attention. Especially if she says something like
"You should have seen this coming".
