I AM IN SEVERE PAIN I can not stand the pain any longer. What is th easiest way to do suicide?
Please reply in detail so I know exactly how to end my life.
If yer serious, I really feel for ya, cuz Ive been there. But before ya try that, please, try to find a good pain doc and get the right meds to help control yer pain. Youd be amazed at how much even *some* pain relief can do for yer state of mind.
However, ya asked a question and heres the best answer I can give ya:
I keep a copy of "Final Exit" and "Let Me Die Before I Wake", both by Derek Humphrey, in my bookcase. Knowing they are there makes me feel better for some strange reason. I got both in the bargain book bin--which is fairly ironic considering the hype that Final Exit got when it first came out! Both books have allot of options, recipes, alternatives, hotline info and the whole range of things related to suicide, not just suicide instructions. Its been awhile since I opened either, but like I said, just knowing they are there gives me a sense that I have some control over my own life, esp. when it comes to pain.
There are several books that you can get the info you seek from. Oddly enuf, websites that have that info require "cooling off" periods between when you sign up or pay for the info, and when you get it--presumably to prevent them from being sued. And honestly, I dont think I would wanna give you THE recipe that caused yer death.
Besides, there are so many ways, and some ppl only want one way and have access to only certain meds. The books I mentioned (and there are many more on the topic avail too, so Im not just pushing Humphrey's books) have all kinds of options to pick from. Without knowing yer situation, it'd be impossible to give you what would work best for you.
I konw ya didnt ask for this, but please, think of those yer leaving behind. Losing a luved one to suicide is remarkably painful and the pain from it all lasts far longer than losing someone to a natural, non suicide death. Think of them. And while yer giving thought to them, start looking for a good pain doc. There are ppl here who can posts referral info to find a doc too. Who knows? Ya could get lucky and find someone willing to aggressively treat yer pain. It cant hurt anymore than ya already do, just to try.
I hope this answer covered a few bases, not just the one you wanted covered. If ya decide to try & find a doc, jsut post for help and info and ppl will give it. Im sure there are many ppl here who will email back & forth with you if yer feeling the need for support. Or if nuthing else, try these:
www.suicidehotlines.com
www.hopeline.com (1-800-SUICIDE)
www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org
I bet somewhere in there you might find help. There are more hotline #'s than I listed here that you can access just by going to the websites.
Take care. .
