Well, self-destructive behavior will eventually kill you, but it usually
takes a while.
Seriously, if you're in so much pain that you are thinking about killing
yourself, wouldn't it be better to ask your doctor for better, more
powerful meds. If he won't give them to you, then find a new doctor. And
a shrink to help you cope. No matter how bad the pain is, there's a way
to control it with medication. Don't give up on yourself.
