Hey everyone....for those who have asked, my procedure is over and so
far, I think I am going to see good relief from the nerve pain. Legs
are still achy as is back, however the level has gone from a 10 this AM
to about a 4 some 6 hours later.
PM Doc put me on Methadone and took me off the "asprin" I have been
taking. He also took me of the Ambien/Lunesta and put me on Doxepin.
Added bonus is that the stuff evidently shuts down firing nerves in the
back. My pharmasist said it is a great drug for my insomnia and
nerve/back problems.
I'll take first dose of Methadone this evening so I can guage how it
reacts with me and I can go to bed if needed. Plus, with a one per 12
hours, this will work better as I can take a morning dose.
Wife and I are off on vacation this Sunday and will be down at the
beach until the following Friday.
Thanks to all who emailed encouragement, prayers and good vibes.
Apologies to all I was a little short with this week. I was in
tremendous pain and worried about my LTD and got a little bitchy. No
excuses, however those I pissed off, please try and understand that's
not the "normal" "me".
Mike
