I agree with you 100%. If I knew what I know now I would not have had the
first surgery. That one lead onto the other 3. I've got all the same
conditions with the addition of front and back fusion at L4-L5,L-5-S-1
level. Also hernitation at C-6 with bone spurs and nerve compression at C-5.
I have been out of work since 1998 with full disability from SS and my
company. I was very lucky to work for a major oil company that still has me
on LTD and still allows me to have health ins. The only treatment I have now
is medication and relaxation technics to help with pain. Everyday is a pain
day some better than others. I thought you were new to the game because of
your questions. I'm sorry and you are completly right about getting info
from the ones that know. I've lived with this problem since 1995 and if
there anything you'd like to ask feel free. I've been through just about all
one can go through and have taken most of the pain meds. Take care of
