Re: Hello

X-No-Archive: yes

Welcome to ASC-P Lex. Sorry, like the rest of us you suffer chronic
pain. Becoming involved in a support group can help with the mental
and emotional aspects we suffer as chronic painers. You may also gain
knowlege that will be helpful to you from others in the group. Others
in the group may also gain knowlege from your experiences with chronic
pain.

I wish you luck with your SSI....is it SSI or is it SSDI? SSI is a
needs based program, which takes into consideration the total household
income. SSDI is a program based on your work history and does not care
about what the total household income is. Either way, I wish you luck.
You might want to check out a group on Yahoo called Disinissues. It
is not a chat group, but an information based group with experts like
attorneys, former SS employees and form Disability Insurance employees
giving advice and sharing their knowlege. They can be found at
Disinissues-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I hope you stick around and see how helpful being involved in a support
group can be. Even if that support group is online rather than real
life.

Again, welcome and good luck!
