No posts here, so am just throwing up a post to say hello, happy
memorial day to all, and prayers that all are doing well healthwise and
are able to be out and about and enjoying the sunshine and outdoor
activities!

I had a quiet more or less Memorial Day. Sunday afternoon my right
knee gave way and then locked up. I'd been having trouble with it for
quite some time but nothing like this. Gave me a painful and pretty
much sleepless night. This morning I went to the ER because the clinic
was closed. Doctor prescribed hydrodocone 3 times a day and 800 mgs of
ibuprophen to bring down the swelling. Also I'm to keep it iced and
elevated. I was given a referral to an orthopedist. When the ER doctor
saw the x-rays he noticed "a lot of arthritis". Color me surprised, as
my daughter says. lol I'm not psychic but I foresee an arthroscopy in
my future. I actually look forward to it if it'll help matters.
How are you getting along? All finished with your procedures? As
doctors call them.
Like the Scripture in your sig. :)

Got a call from the clinic. The orthopedist was in town and they got
me in. He says I have to have a TKR. Monday I see my rheumatologist.
He was having my knees x-rayed and discussed anyway. The appointment
had been made a couple of months ago. I'm going to tell him about the
ortho visit and get his input. My left knee likely needs a TKR as
well.
