I saw in an email you got it to work finally. that is good news. Now you
can go onto the next project. I feel for you and i know it has to be majorly
frustrating. I hope you do ok and that your test results come back with
something that is finally fixable.

I know longer want to be the technical support person for this household!
I
have now spent almost 2 hours total talking to TracFone to get new numbers
for our phones so they'll be local now. For some reason Mike's phone just
won't work with the new numbers it keeps getting. We're up to the 3rd new
phone number and I'm losing patience! no, wait, we're aout to get a 4th
number! Man, I wish Mike were willing to do some of these technical
chores.
Of course he'll wonder why I didn't get some other stuff accomplished
today!

And now that I've brought back all our other furniture from Florida, I've
been trying to set up the other computer. Of course it seems that one of
us
put its power cord in some "safe" place and we can't find it anywhere.
Sure
seems like we *should* have packed it with the computer, but packing was
somewhat nuts after Mother's unexpected death. I think I'll give up and
drive down to Ludington if I ever get off the phone here and buy a new
cord
and the ethernet switch we need so we can both be online at once.

Of course you knnow who will be connecting it all, even though my thumbs
are
complaining loudly about all the new codes I've been having to punch into
Mike's phone! Connecting may wait a day or two.......

And of course I'm doing all of this the day after being scoped from both
ends. Repeat after me, I'm just glad to be alive so I can be frustrated
by
all this........
