I looked it up. Soy sauce does contain wheat and should be avoided by
those with gluten allergies. I did not know that.

main ingredients in soy sauce. The best sauces are then "brewed,"
through an aging and fermenting process that lasts months before

matter of days through the use of chemicals. These are less expensive,
but the taste may also reflect added ingredients.
You can get wheat-free Tamari sauce in a health food store. I have San-J
brand, and it's labeled gluten-free.
