Re: OTP UPDATE on asthma




Hey SJ,


I am haning in, although it definitely has been a bit of a challenging
summer with this crazy weather and such.

My appointment today was for follow up from when I was in the hospital a
few weeks ago. He (lung doctor) was pleased with how much better my
lungs sounded and that is when he told me about how literally all his
patients are having a hard time this year due to the weather and he was
working hard to keep up with all the calls he has been getting from
patients. He said I should move to arizona or I think it was ethier
san diego or one of those western areas where it is in the 60's most all
year round and fairly dry most of the year. He said he would come with
me so he could continue to be my dcotr! lololol..........I think that
was just his excuse!

Other wise I am doing ok. Still lots going on on the health front and
many decisions to think about and have to make. Some times you just
want to bury your head in the sand. I did manage to cancel all doctors
appointments in june (except when I got sick) so had a nice break from
the whole medical scene for a while. It was pure heaven and very much
needed for sanity sake. I'll have to do that more often when I start
to feel over whelmed by all the medical stuff going on. I am very
blessed by an incredible group of doctors who are all so compassionate
and caring and really do go above and beyond to help keep things stable
for me, and I so appreciate each and every one of them, but still need
to get away from them and the whole thing once in a while.

June was an incredible month of relaxation, focussing on nieces and
nephews and the joy they bring, etc.

We have a family reunion coming up in august, so need to try to stay
well and rested so I can truly enjoy our time together with family and
cousins, etc. Also so I can enjoy some time on the beach!!!
