Re: Bobble Head Rosie

Rosie,

It doesn't seem that long. It seems like yesterday. Yeah you do seem to like
to keep them four years apart don't you.

well at least peep every once in a while so we know you are still around ok.

I am trying my best with the boil stuff but right now don't feel to positive
about it. This is going to be my second course of antib's and they don't
seem to be doing much good. I was feeling a bit better today because the
delta breeze came in a cooled things down a bit. But starting tomorrow
things are suppose to go back up again. Feverish and hot is not to
appealing. I can't seem to stay hydrated with this.

I can't believe I feel so feverish and my temp is not going up above 99. But
then 96.4 is normal for me.

Heya Squish,

Despite appearing to nod and say 'yes' a lot, I actually shake my
head side to side more often to say 'no'. Just ask the guys and they'll
confirm that. lol

This year makes 12 that we've known each other. David is almost 14
1/2 and starts High School in the fall. Already. In this time I've had
gangrene, had a stroke, and now this neck thingy. I only have something
every four years, on average, so that's not really bad at all. :-)

I'll take the tape, thanks -- it'll keep Normie outta trouble for
a little while anyways if he's forced to clam up. <g>

I'm around all the time; I'm just not saying much. I will pipe up
and join in if I've got something other than 'me too' to say or if
addressed directly....but it seems so far that no one else, yet, has had
their head better tethered to their shoulders. <sigh> I hate being first
on stuffs like this. Whutcha gonna do -- can't do anything about it now
except whut I am doing: so it goes.

Take care of that boil stuff and be sure to eat your yogurt if
you'll be on AB's, otay?

Luv and Hugs from Rosie

Oh Rosie sweetie, sorry to hear this going on.

I always thought of you as someone who held their head high, well I guess
I have to rethink this one now. LOL ;-)

You sure gave us a picture to think about here.

I hope you have time to prepare you for this to happen.
Tell Normie I said I have some duct tape that will work well on his
mouth. LOL ;-)

Sorry the pain meds are not helping your neck. I feel for you on that
one. I sure hope all goes well with you. Have been thinking about you
alot.

You don't need something like this to come back and talk with us you
know. We miss you when you are not around.

Hi Ya'll,

I went to the RD last week and have been thinking about the visit
since. Luckily for me this doc is a very wise man and correctly figured
out that I do best with plenty of advance warning.

So he eased me into the idea of having to have surgery on the
ligaments of my neck. He sez that my head isn't held up very well ( the
result of being big brained? yuk yuk) and when (not if) the upper spinal
cord gets compressed I'll need to have the ligaments shortened. I
already have some nasty bone spurs and squished discs, so it's just a
matter of time. I'm up really early uncharacteristically due to neck
pain that the meds. aren't handling this AM.

Nothing really to look forward to, but hopefully I'll have a quite a
bit of time to get used to the idea before I have to have it. The only
thing Normie wanted was for them to bandage over my mouth, too,
afterwards. The doc knows that Normie is always this weird, not just
during office visits. :-)

Has anyone else had this done or is it only us Connective Tissue
Disease peoples that have to deal with stuff like this?

TIA!

Hugs 4 All Ya'll from Rosie
