Oh, no, Diane! Not a new book??? I would call first thing in the morning
and make sure somebody didn't walk off with it. Good luck.

oooh, i can't wait to dumpster dive with my cane! and you can get them
with a bluetooth? fantastic! i had no idea this was going to be so
much fun, not to mention useful.
my big concern (okay, it's not all that big in terms of major life
issues) is the fact that my wrists are auto-fused, so i'm not sure how
i'll do with a cane. i think i'll get a cheapy one to try out, and if
it works okay, advance to one of these beauties. i LOVE kate's
gorgeous wooden ones. i think the walking sticks wouldn't do too well
with my wrists, though.
i just got my cortisone shots in my ankle. if anyone needs to elicit
any secret information from me, they can get it during a cortisone
shot. dang that smarts! worse, though, i left all my day's work and my
portable word processor at the podiatrist's office which is way far
away. i truly hope none of his staff reads my abysmally rough draft.
ugh.
