Do that but add cottage cheese, cucumber, slightly cooked broccolli
and don't bother putting it back in the oven and that is sometimes
my dinner when Pat is away. Don't even need butter for that. I
quite often add avocado for a treat.

The recipes lately are great. Mom is bringing her Dear Abby cake
tonight for dinner, I have the crabs, the salad is ready to assemble
and we have 3 loaves of baquettes fresh from the bakery oven. She
has my favorite crackers with pate de fois gras from her trip to
France and there are more than a couple of bottles of wine here. Oh
and french vanilla mango swirl ice cream just in case anyone wants
any with their cake. Marc doesn't like crabs so he gets a steak,
Kyle gets chicken strips and chips since he isn't wild about crab or
steak and it is cheaper for a 6 year old anyhow. So think that
covers dinner.

I put the linen table cloth that my mother in law gave me on the
table (I swear that cloth is a hundred years old - it came from
England forever ago) and bought lots of tulips, and daffodils. My
husband bought me a double purple orchid for my birthday so it is on
the sideboard and I filled crystal bowls with pastel coloured
hershey kisses. Looks lovely.

The best is the weather is co-operating. Wow! It was suppose to
pour all day and it rained overnight but is sunny and a slight
overcast now. If it only lasts as we have family pictures at 4:30.
The first time in over 3 years that all of us have been together and
the last time was Ken's wedding so obviously that was a little crazy
time - no time for the family pictures we needed.

So a good day - hope everyone else has sun.

No sun, but hope the clouds favor us with some rain.

I got a really good feeling and a smile, just reading about all of the
above. Thank you.
