It certainly appears that she is more widely read in Europe because herThe New Yorker article states "Two of them, ³The Rage and the Pride² and ³The

including the Force of Reason, The Fury and the Pride, and the Letter to
the Child Never Born, but that's about it.
Force of Reason,² have been translated into idiosyncratic English by Fallaci
herself. (She has had difficult relationships with translators in the past.)"

Hi Nann,
She makes much of the television images of Palestinians rejoicing afterJudging by the New Yorker article, she probably never has admitted to that
911, but she does not seem to be aware that those images were phony, in
that they were file films of Palestinians celebrating something else and
were, apparently, deliberately shown in the USA as evidence that the
Palestinians were bad, which seems to be how Ms. Fallaci took them.
Perhaps she finds out later in the book.
reality. Her total antipathy towards Islam seems to be long-standing so she
would view the reports of "celebrations' as obvious confirmation of her
attitudes and most likely would think the subsequent reports were propaganda.
it is actually very easy to find both Rage and Force. We have them in
our used bookstore here. I just checked ebay and there are multiple
copies of each. If anyone wants to borrow mine, your welcome to
them.
All very well for your to say. I already plowed through half of Force in Italian and got to thinking that I was missing something so I went looking for the English Text.
Please excuse the rambling on, I've been dealing with translations.
