My heart is still beating, so that's a good thing :-) Every morning I wake up and say "Well, I'm still here so I guess I have to get up" :-)) My weight loss is not going well right now. I went off for the holidays and am finding it hard to go back to it. I re-started this week and have been doing much better...just have to get back to the exercise thing :)
My friend in Chicago is still unemployed, had to give up his home and move in with relatives. My best friend still has no job and is just temping and collecting unemployment. My niece got laid off, but she's a real go getter and found another job within two weeks. It's not the greatest job in the world, but she likes the company and the people, so I told her to hang in and when other positions became available, she can put in for them. That was my plan when I was at AT&T, but then I got sick. At this point, I'm glad i don't have to look for a job. It's crazy out there! Starbucks laid off a lot of people at the corporate headquarters today, and whole company in Bellingham laid off all its employees. I hope this stimulus package works!
