mtx does take time and is dose related.  Are you up to what your doctor
wants you to be taking fully yet?  Also it works well in conjunction with
other meds so don't be surprised to see another med added to the mix.  The
fact that you are feeling better a little after 2 months would seem good to
me.  When first started on mtx it takes time to see results.

What dose are you on??

Started Methotrexate about 3 months ago.  I started on 12.5 a week and
am up to 15. I also take plaquanil and cataflam daily. I had great
luck with the plaquanil for almost 20 years but no more. I kind of
feel like I am starting over again. In addition to the joint pain I
have a lot of muscle pain around the knees. Don't remember that from
the first go round.
