owies!!!! ((((((((((((((((((((very gentle gwenie
hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))) you do know, of course, that it is very
inefficient to try to break a bookcase with your back, don't you. well, you
do now, anyway. next time, have a strong, good-looking dude do that for
you! it's much more fun to watch a cute guy do it.
i'm sorry you're hurtin', hon. hoping the injection kicks in quickly. glad
to hear the lortabs help you. hang in there, sweetie. i'm hanging in
there with you.
keeping you gently tucked into my thoughts and prayers.

For about 4 weeks now, I've had pain in my right arm and shoulder any time I
use that arm. I finally called my orthopedic surgeon to have him look at it
for me. He did my left rotator cuff twice, and years ago, the right
shoulder was done one time in Florida. They xrayed my neck and shoulder and
there's a lot of arthritis in my neck, which he said could add to the
problem. When he lifted my arm above my shoulder, it popped twice so loud
that a man way across the room heard it.
He doesn't do surgery unless necessary, so he said let's try an injection.
He doesn't do injections as easy as my RD does, but I can't wait until March
so he did it. Wow, did it hurt! My arm moves easier now but it still
hurts, and I can't pick up anything with it; have to prop it up with the
left arm. He did give me a prescription for Lortabs, which helps.
On top of that, I fell Monday, backwards, and hit a book case. Have a
wonderful purple bruise all across my middle back, and it is also sore.
Guess I'm going to have to do as my neurologist says and start using my quad
cane to keep me upright. Yes, getting old is for the birds, particularly
when you have a lot of health problems to go along with the age. I keep
telling God that I'm ready when He is! Apparently He isn't yet.
My prayers for all that are having so many problems right now.
Gwen
