Re: OTP Need prayers for dental surgery UPDATE

Surgery was an hour late because of the previous one, which developed some
complications. He could not do the implant, but I wasn't surprised. When
he says, "If I can." it usually means he can't. My mouth just feels numb
right now. I feel weak, but then I am used to eating three times a day and
I had to skip breakfast! I've been through the bone grafts before, too. No
mouth wash and no brushing of the extraction area. I have a follow up next
Thursday, so should have a better idea of how it's doing. At least I don't
have the plethora of stitches I usually have. Homemade pea soup with ham
for supper! Mom makes the best pea soup.

By the way, they delivered the new TV and plugged it in for Mom. We don't
have the best picture (just a wee bit widening on it - Drew Carey on Price
is Right is even wider than he usually is!) but they will be here on Tuesday
to do the setting up. I probably could do it myself (used to be an
electronics technician in the Navy and spent most of my working life as an
engineer of various fields) but it was included free, so might as well take
advantage of it. I will call my dil and when I get an update on Joshua,
will post it. Thanks for all the prayers and hugs, I could feel the warm
feelings at the dentist's!

I should have put this on earlier, but have - just forgot. Anyhow, I am
having dental surgery this morning to remove the root from a tooth that
fell out. Evidently there was a cavity under the crown and it didn't
bother me, so nothing was done about it. It didn't show up on the x-rays.
He will also do a bone graft and try to put in an implant. He's not sure
about the implant. We may have to wait on that. The surgery is at 9AM
EST. Thanks, guys.

PS No word yet on my grandson - I will call tonight.
