Well, I got the date today - Wednesday 12 November 2008, and the surgery,
right now, is scheduled for 7:30 (first on the list, unless the doctor
puts somebody in more need ahead of me.) Lots of prep to do after I get
the letter from the doctor's nurse assistant. Thanks for all the support.

To
borrow a phrase, "keep your eyes on the prize". And it's best to go
ahead
and do it before things get even worse. An onorous combo of reasons had
my
mom putting it off for too long and her rehab was significantly longer
and
slower as a result.

and for now focus on the birtday of that beautiful granddaughter!
