I'll celebrate with you, Kate ;-) I figured when the loan company called and
asked if everything went okay with my purchase of a new Kirby, I might as
well be honest with her. That's when she told me I could still cancel. Nanny

as

the

the

new

-> that
-> the whole sales pitch and sale went so fast, and that I wore hearing aids

-> but the 3-day grace period had expired. She said, "Oh, you can still
-> cancel".
-> I said, "What, really"? and she told me that the 3-day grace period began
-> AFTER the loan was approved, and they hadn't done that yet. She was
very
-> helpful and understanding, and said she would take care of the
cancellation.
-> Yippee! Whew! I've learned a hard lesson through this. Now, it will be
-> interesting to see what the FTC does. So much excitement around here ;-

-> Not the kind of excitement I enjoy, though. Nanny
