My little adventure with Imuran started a very few weeks ago when I first took it.
Well, guess what! I just got back from week or more visit to the nice hospital where I was mostly isolated because of the mysterious rash that looked for all the world like measles, but from which they could culture nothing familiar.
It started when I was blowing into the empty tube for the pulmonologist and getting gales of coughing from the irritation of it which was making my lungs sore and my chest hurt. Just like two months ago before I couldn't breathe.
So there are no new blood clots in the lungs after all and pain and irritation has largely subsided. The rash turns out to be from a normally innocuous little blue bacterium that is found everywhere, but which was given a golden opportunity by Imuran to be a star, if not a new plague.
Now, I'm keeping a travel bag packed.
And, oh yes, the arthritis is unchanged.
