Taking a typewritten list of problems/questions is a very good idea.
When I first went to my Rheumy I did just that and he seemed to
appreciate it. Later when I would go in with a list of questions just
handwritten, he would always ask if he could keep it in his files. I
think all this information helped when he suggested I file for
disability and filled out the paperwork. It also left me leaving his
office feeling that I hadn't forgotten to ask anything.
