Before I was taking any of the meds listed in a previous message,
I always had to have food in my stomach before alcohol, else I
had the same felling you described (and I was the bartender at
many, many department functions). <VBG>
After I began seeing the "DO NOT TAKE WITH ALCOHOL" label, I asked
the pharmacist if that was an outright ban on drinking. He asked
me how much I consumed. I replied 1 or 2 half glasses of wine OR
1 cocktail a week. He stated, "Don't worry. That label is a
warning to the 6-pak a night poker player or couch potato."
We had a fella from Alaska who wrote that he "HAD to have a 6-pak
whenever he was with his friends." We haven't heard from him in
a long, long time.
