Re: Hyalgen this afternoon

It's uncomfortable, but in the same way that any treatment to make something
better is (if you can follow that LOL). So, hang in there and do everything
the doctor says and your knee will feel lots better (99% of the time).
Prayers and hugs coming airmail.

This afternoon will be the first of my 5 hyalgen injections into my knees.
My
left knee is the biggest problem, and I'm going to propose to the doc that
maybe we should only do the left one. Although, honestly I'd love to have
an
even pain free knees. I'll also ask him about maybe postponing a right
knee
injection till next week, thereby extending the number of weeks to 6
vsits, the
6th being for my right knee only. Someone here suggested that, and I
think
it's a pretty good idea.

I'm having a ton of anxiety over this. I know that in the big scheme of
things, this is quite minor in its discomfort factor. But, I am most
admittedly a real wimp. I'm a wimpy gimp, and I stress. I've read about
the
whole gamut of reactions from these injections, and I am so hoping it will
be
easy. I don't want to be one of the hard cases.

So all, keep your fingers crossed for me. And, of course, I'll post a
play by
play report. <g>
