Re: OTP whine CT scan for bloated stomach - Gallstones!

Thanks a lot, folks. That's what so weird. I don't really feel as if I had
any symptoms, but who knows what can hide under other symptoms? I'm not
even sure he'll go for surgery, but the indications are probably he will.
I've had other laproscopic surgery (on my knee), so I, too, like the
"bandaid" type of surgery. I'll let you all know what is going to happen.
Like I said my appointment is a week from next Tuesday, so we will see.

You'll feel so much better when the gallstones are gone. I had been so
sick, even the smell of food made me vomit. Without the big, long incision
like I had, they say it's a piece of cake!

I went in yesterday and had a CT scan with contrast - drink wasn't too
bad -
and I found out today that I have gallstones. I've not had any symptoms
like they describe, but I have an appointment with a general surgeon on
the
12th of August. That's all I need is one more thing on the stove! I'm
needing some moral support right now. I feel just a little overwhelmed.
I
don't have all the pain that a lot of you do, just enough to be
aggravating
and now this. I went in originally with the complaint to my GYN that I
had
gained 4-6 pounds in about 5 days and my stomach felt a little bloated, so
he ordered the scan. Thanks, guys, for all the support you have given me
before.
