I'm
already on an antibiotic, doxicycline, for Lyme disease. Two
weekends
ago, I had the major flu symptoms, icluding fever, chills, headache.
Ticks are the bane of my existence, honestly. This is my third bout
of
Lyme disease. Also, I'm using a triple antibiotic cream topically.
Hopefully, no infection will develop, which is what really
complicates a
burn, and this is how the derm doc is treating this.
Some people go on antibiotics every time they find a tick. I cannot
do
that. If I take them like that, I'd never be off the drugs. I just
have to balance a judicious use of antibiotics with symptoms of
Lyme.
My doc agrees. I hate ticks.
