Re: OTP - Traveling by air

Nan, I have found a great oleo/butter replacement with no dairy products in
it. It is made from soy and tastes delicious. It is called "Earth Balance"
and I find it in the "soy" stuff area in the refrigerated section. It
really tastes like butter, but not as rich. According to the label, it is
good for cooking, baking, and spreading. When it first comes out of the
refrigerator, it is pretty firm, but it softens up nicely within a few
minutes and actually spreads pretty well right away. They also have a soy
yogurt there that is pretty good. I get the vanilla.

Thanks, Adelle. I dont eat PBJ anymore so no problem there. In fact I
don't eat anything with high fructose corn syrup, or anything that has
stuff in it that I can't pronounce :)

Carole :)

the PB I eat has not HFCS, no ingredients I can't pronounce and no
hydrogenated oils at any level. But it does cost more. ;-) not that I'm
trying to talk anyone into eating PB, but there are leass nhealthy
versions
out there. But I wouldn't keep it around as much, nor eat as much of it,
if
I weren't allergic to milk. I'll eat a spoonful of PB at times when I'd
eat
some yogurt if I could.
